Yash Garg is an aspiring marine biologist and conservationist, currently pursuing his master’s in Wildlife Sciences from Amity University, Noida. Being a young and self-inspired wildlife enthusiast, he has acquired many skills and experiences through volunteer work in various wildlife fields. As a volunteer, he has been associated with various organizations such as Wild Otters Research (WOR), Chorao Island, Goa, NAJA Wildlife Conservation Group, Gujarat, Wildlife Care Centre, Ahmedabad, GJ, India, Gangetic dolphins’ conservation project, 2019 at District Environment Club, Haridwar and Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, and Annual Crocodile Count, 2020 Vidyanagar Nature Club (VNC), Anand, GJ, India which has helped him in coming closer to his dream. His core areas of research interest are coral resilience, coral ecology, and restoration techniques. He wishes to go for higher studies as well and contribute towards the conservation of marine ecosystems.
