Ms. Swanandee Nulkar is an accomplished environmental researcher and environmental educator specializing in microbial ecology and sustainable environmental solutions. She has a strong background in environmental microbiology with post-graduation in Environmental Science from K. J. Somaiya College (Autonomous), Mumbai. She is a research associate working on electroactive microorganisms for biomethane production at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg. She investigated the effects of heavy metal pollution on microbial communities at the Technical University of Munich and has contributed to research on soil zinc deficiency and plant growth-promoting bacteria in India.
